Just returned from a 1 week trip to Japan after visiting the dearest. It was a fulfilling trip - I got carried away with the shopping. =S
But somehow, after going there for the second time, I realised Japan no longer held the same fascination for me as it once did - the never-ending train rides, freezing wind, and cities that tend to resemble one another after a while. I realised home is still by far the best - notwithstanding SG's small land size, it's accessible and convenient. That said, it may be because I'm born and bred in this place, hence the sense of familiarity and comfort.
Nonetheless, it was a good trip - spent wonderful times with the bf although the poor darling got sick towards the end of my holiday there...
Oh wells, back to reality tomorrow - heard there was some unexpected surprises which happened at work. I don't even dare to think about the amount of stuff that's waiting for me when I go back.
